Arnold Transportation Services, Inc. provides our Northeast drivers with well-equipped, late model conventional tractors. The majority of our tractors are three years old or newer.
COMPENSATION SCHEDULE
YEARS OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE STARTING PAY RATE

ALL MILEAGE RATES QUOTED ARE LOADED AND EMPTY
*Rate includes a $.05 premium for running the NE states to include VA, DE, MD, NJ, PA, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH,
HOME TIME: Home Weekly.
REFERRAL BONUS:Any experienced driver or contractor referred by you that completes 30 days service entitles referring driver to a $800.00 referral bonus
| LAYOVER / NON-DEDICATED: |
Compensated at $55.00 for each 24-hour period during which we are unable to provide a load or work assignment. |
| DETENTION PAY: |
Detention at any shipping or receiving facility will be compensated at the rate of $14.00 per hour, after allowing for 2 hours. |
| LOAD / UNLOAD PAY: |
$65.00 flat pay. A driver load / unload is defined as 100% hand touch freight. This would include reloading pallets from big wood to small wood and vice versa. |
| DRIVER ASSIST: |
Pays $30.00 and is defined as anything less than 100% touch freight. Examples would be loading or off-loading with a pallet jack, shrink-wrap, breakdown, etc. All driver assist is subject to dispatch approval. Counting freight while being loaded or unloaded by a third party or machine does not constitute an assist. |
| LOCAL WORK: |
Drivers will be paid at the rate of $14.00 per hour for local work.(Loads 50 miles or less paid hourly) Hours Predetermined. Loads more than 50 miles pay $50.00 minimum. |
| STOP OFF PAY: |
$30.00 excluding initial pick-up and final drop. |
| TOLLS AND SCALE RECEIPTS: |
EZ Pass. Authorized scale receipts reimbursed. |
| NO NEW YORK CITY: |
If you elect to to to New York City, a premium of $45.00 will be paid. |
| LIFE & DISABILITY INS: |
Free $15,000 life, $15,000 for accidental death. Short term disability for just
$2.70 per week. Long term disability is free. |

| VACATIONS: |
One (1) week after one (1) calendar year of service, two (2) weeks after two (2) years of service, three (3) weeks after five (5) years of service, and four (4) weeks after fifteen (15) years of service. |
| HOLIDAY PAY: |
All company drivers will be paid $70 per day for the following three holidays, provided the driver has completed 30 days of employment prior to the holiday: Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year’s Day |
| BEREAVEMENT: |
You will be paid at a rate of $50.00 per day for each bereavement day. |
| JURY DUTY: |
You will be paid at a rate of $50.00 per day. |
| 401(K) RETIREMENT: |
You will be eligible during the first enrollment period after 6 months employment. Company matches 50 cents on the dollar up to 6% of gross pay. You can contribute up to 15% of your income. |
| GENERAL INFORMATION |
| OPERATIONAL AREA: |
Primary running area is Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York,
Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, East of I-77 in Ohio and
Maine. |
| A WEEK IN REVIEW: |
You may pass through the house during the week, but not guaranteed. You will be home every
weekend (Friday night or Saturday a.m.). Must be prepared to leave Sunday for early Monday
morning deliveries. |
| TRACTOR PURCHASE: |
Used company tractors subject to availability. |
| PASSENGER PROGRAM: |
Eligible riders include spouse, your children eleven years and older. Other immediate family
members to include parents, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and significant others,
etc. Ask recruiter for details. There is a 90-day waiting period except for drivers with 2 years
driving experience and good driving record. |

| TERMINAL LOCATIONS: |
Main terminals located in Jacksonville, FL., Camp Hill, PA., Grand Prairie, TX., with satellite
terminals located in Austell, GA., Dayton, OH., Houston and Paris, TX. , Muskogee, OK. |
DRIVING RECORD: All drivers
must have a Class “A” C.D.L
with HAZMAT endorsement. Requirements vary by experience.
